  1. Demonstrate an understanding of a world theatre tradition and its cultural and/or theoretical context(s) by appraising a specific performance convention;
  2. Practically demonstrate understanding of a selected performance convention through the confident and effective use of body and voice;
  3. Using a range of resources compare the selected performance convention to ONE other performance practice.
  4. Present and sustain a critically defined vocal characterisation in performance demonstrating control of vocal dynamics; pitch, pace, articulation, tone, projection, timing, cues and rhythm;
  5. Present and sustain a critically defined physical characterisation in performance that demonstrates complexity, belief, control, energy, conviction, clarity and focus;
  6. Present a coherent monologue that uses performance elements to convey an interpretation, establish an actor audience relationship and uses the given performance space;
  7. Demonstrate the detailed application of selected aspect(s) of theatre theory to a performance, using appropriate performance and production elements, to fulfil a specific artistic intention;
  8. Demonstrate advanced creative processes and application of theatre theory to a solo performance; critically analyse how their creative process influenced dramatic choices and led to the development of their specific artistic intention; justify the use of appropriate practical techniques;
  9. Critically evaluate a presented solo performance, critiquing the extent to which artistic intentions were realised, reflecting on learning experiences from a Christian worldview.
