- Describe an understanding of the historical, educational and social factors that have impacted Christian schooling in Australia
- Appraise the distinctive features of parent directed Christian schools with reference to the development of the Christian Education Network (CEN) movement
- Formulate an understanding and appreciation of other models of Christian schooling;
- Analyse and defend the issues involved with maintaining foundational values in changing educational and social contexts;
- Assess the ways a particular school seeks to maintain congruence with its vision and practice.

- The development of Parent-Controlled (CEN) schools
- Other models of distinctively Christian schooling in Australia and internationally
- Maintaining vision and values
- Christian schooling in the current social context
- Investigating another model of Christian schooling
This course may be offered in the following formats
- Face-to-Face
- Distance/ Global Online
- Intensive (5 days of classes/7 hours per day followed by 85 hours reading, writing and assignments)
- Extensive (5 days spread over the semester)
