  1. Compare and contrast the functions of Job Analysis and Job Design as strategic tools of HRM;
  2. Explain the importance of Job Design for organizational success as an integral construct for Performance Management, with a job description and person specification;
  3. Prepare a Performance Management Appraisal Program based on Job Analysis and Job Design;
  4. Adopt the use of the Performance Management assessment tools – Competency Profiling and Key Performance Indicators in the development of a Performance Management Appraisal Program;
  5. Integrate and justify the use of quantitative or qualitative research techniques in the development of a Performance Management Appraisal Program;
  6. Explain the context and process of Performance Management culminating in an effective Performance Appraisal interview;
  7. Formulate principles and processes for conducting Performance Appraisals based on principles of leadership.
