Critically engage in visual arts, from a Christian perspective. Students will intergrate faith based ideologies and evaluate how art and design works operate in the world to make, reflect and interrogate social and cultural meanings. This unit ecourages students to extend their own creative capacities, and their understanding and knowledge of senior visual arts. This unit places emphasis on the NESA Visual Arts Years 11-12 syllabus. Examining the challenges of Visual Arts in Christian, Faith based, and ideologically oriented schools, which will support pre-service teachers to develop their own evidenced based philosophy when teaching the Visual Arts.
