알파크루시스 대학교 영어학부는 약 76년의 역사를 자랑하고 있고 현재 Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, AC New Zealand, Online 캠퍼스에서 Business, Chaplaincy & Community Services, Education, Leadership, Ministry, Music and Media, Social Science & Counselling, Theology, Arts 등의 전공과목에 약 4,000여명의 학생이 수업을 듣고 있습니다. 알파크루시스 대학는 호주 교육부에서 유일하게 한국어 신학 박사과정 승인받은 학교입니다.
알파크루시스 한국어학부는 약 30여년 동안 한국인 동문들을 약 2,000여명 배출하였습니다. 알파크루시스 한국어학부는 현재 신학과 목회학과, 상담학과, 음악학과, 사회복지학과 등 다양한 학과들에서 많은 한국인 학생들이 공부하고 있습니다. 이 모든 과정을 한국어로 공부한다는 점에서 한국인에게는 매력적인 과정들이라 할 수 있습니다.
과정들을 설명드리면, 신학 및 목회학과는 전문학사과정부터 학사, 석사, 박사학위과정까지 다양한 코스들이 있습니다. 상담학과는 Diploma 과정과 Higher Education학사 과정 및 석사과정 등이 있습니다. 음악학과는 디플로마과정, Higher Education 학사과정 등이 있습니다. 그리고 사회복지학과에는 전문학사과정으로 에이지드케어코스인 Certificate III in Individual Support과정이 있습니다.
국제학생들은 4년 또는 5.5년의 CoE를 발급받아 호주에서 학업할 수 있습니다. 그리고 호주시민권을 소지하고 계신 호주한국인은 한국어학부 대부분의 학과에서 FEE-HELP/VSL과 Austudy를 신청할 수 있습니다(conditions apply).
또한 일부 과목에 대하여는 온라인 과정을 통해 한국을 비롯한 세계 어디서나 검증된 호주학위를 취득할 수 있습니다.

Since studying a Diploma of Ministry (Chaplaincy) in 2016, Stephen is now working as a chaplain with ChaplainWatch, a charity based in Brisbane. Australia striving to continuously and intentionally achieve their mission, 'watching out for you when good times go bad'. Stephen primarily works on one of ChaplainWatch's main initiatives - StreetWatch providing care and support to those in need living on the streets of Brisbane, offering meals, shelter and more.

I just love the different dynamics of how people interact with each other, and how research is brought to life with practical examples and experiences. In classes, we break out into groups and complete exercises together, getting to know each other in the process. Everyone is so welcoming, and lecturers show a genuine interest in you and your wellbeing during your studies.

HE 음악 디플로마 과정은 음악 산업과 사역 현장에서 성공하는 데 필요한 기본 지식과 실무 기술을 제공합니다.
상담 석사 과정은 기독교 세계관과 통합된 고급 기술과 이론적 지식을 제공하여 개인과 커뮤니티에 지속적이고 의미 있는 영향을 미칠 수 있도록 돕습니다.
Graduate Diploma of Counselling은 상담의 기술적, 이론적 측면을 기독교 세계관과 통합하여 정직성과 전문성으로 기술을 적용할 수 있도록 돕습니다.
이 과정은 가족 및/또는 부부 관계 상담사로 일하는 개인의 역할을 반영합니다.
이 과정은 확립된 상담 방식을 사용하여 고객과 개인적, 심리적 문제를 다루는 상담사의 역할을 반영, 다양한 상담 치료법을 활용하여 고객을 지원하기 위한 실무 과정입니다.
목회학 박사(DMin) 과정은 교회와 사회에 지속적인 기여를 할 준비가 된 상당한 리더십 경험이 있는 졸업생을 위해 설계되었습니다.
철학 박사(PhD) 과정은 신학, 사회 과학, 경영학 또는 교육 분야에서 심층적인 연구를 수행하는 데 열정적인 여러분과 같은 개인을 위해 설계되었습니다.

Our graduates have gone on to work as pastors, church planters, evangelists, teachers, worship leaders, chaplains, counsellors, missionaries and leaders in industry and not-for-profit organisations.
Our Ministry and Theology courses share a common core in Scriptures, Pastoral Ministry, Leadership, and Christian Spirituality. You can then specialize in an area that aligns with your interests and calling.
If you choose Ministry, you will further develop practical skills such as Church Planting, Cross-Cultural Ministry and Preaching that are essential for real-world ministry.
If you opt for Theology, you can choose delve into specific books of the Bible, go deeper into Apologetics and Salvation, or get a grasp of Hebrew and Greek, Check out our Theology courses here.
