Run a Local Church College

A Message From Ps. Brad Bonhomme

Message from Ps. Kay Dohle, Director of Church Partnerships:

“The need for biblically and theologically sound leaders has never been greater. Running an LCC brings world-class teaching to your people each week. AC provides content and assessments, while you focus on applying the material to your context. The result is leaders who embody your church’s heart and culture.”

What is an LCC?

A Local Church College (LCC) is a ‘pop-up college’ hosted in your church, enabling you to train and equip your leaders using content from Alphacrucis (AC).

How Does It Work?

  • AC provides online course content and marks assessments.
  • Students meet weekly for 1-2 hours in a setting of your choice (coffee shop, lounge, or auditorium).
  • Mentoring is provided by church leadership, helping students apply their learning practically within your church.

What Are the Benefits?

Running an LCC allows you to focus on mentoring rather than content creation. Your leaders will benefit from formal study, gaining discipline, mindset growth, and character development. Students can receive accreditation and have the option to continue their studies.

NEW LCC Diplomas

Raising up leaders is the privilege and responsibility of every local church.

Our refreshed Diploma of Leadership and Diploma of Ministry courses will now include key input from a range of experienced ACC Pastors.

Pastors involved include: Wayne Alcorn, Mark Varughese, Darlene Zschech, Matt Heins, Brad Bonhomme, Steve Penny, John Hunt, Cameron and Renee Bennett, Ken Lee and Andy Kirk.
