About this Opportunity:

Design pedagogically sound digital learning courses in accordance with AC’s Digital Learning Framework and in collaborative partnership with AC’s academic staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in accordance with the brief provided by the Director for the design of digital learning resources for AC’s academic staff.
  • Run professional development sessions for AC’s academic staff to help them understand and implement AC’s digital learning framework.
  • The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

Required Skills and Proficiencies:

  • An accredited Tertiary degree in education, instructional design, or e-Learning, or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience in a field relevant to designing learning subjects for blended delivery.
  • Experience in designing digital learning courses for delivery in blended learning Higher Education and VET learning environments.
  • Experience in teaching and online facilitation
  • Experience in designing and delivering professional development workshops and facilitating Communities of Practice.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience in applying this to designing digital learning resources.
  • Knowledge of, and familiarity with, Moodle or other Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office 365 suite, Adobe Acrobat, Articulate 360 and Canva.
  • Knowledge of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (WCAG 2.1 AA standards) used in web content design and online education.
  • Ability to work with a culturally diverse multi-functioning team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to design end to end innovative of digital learning courses.
  • Attention to detail, quality, consistency, and creativity while working on multiple tasks.
  • Strong project management, organizational, self-management, problem-solving, innovation, and creative skills
  • Proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new educational technology in designing and delivery of digital learning.
