Biography
Jo has been working with Alphacrucis in the Chaplaincy and Applied Social Science Faculty since 2016 in a variety of training, assessing and administrative roles. Jo has come from a counselling background in which she spent 7 years in Private Practice working with Individuals, Couples and Families using a variety of modalities including Systems theory, ACT, CBT and Person Centred approaches, along with 6 years as a VET Trainer and Course Coordinator at C3 College. Jo has been an active member in church life running life groups, personal development groups and offering pastoral care since meeting Christ in 1986. Jo has a passion for teaching and aims to instil in her students a strong sense of empathy and compassion for all people and to foster an awareness for on-going personal development in spirit, skill and relationships.
