The Church’s Purpose, History, and Calling

This short course focuses on the following key topics: 

• • The place of the church in God’s purposes and God’s vision for the church.
  • How the church has lived up to and fallen short of its calling in history, and why this is important.
  • The church’s calling to be: a worshipping and counter-cultural community.
  • The church’s calling to do: the why, what, and how of making disciples of Jesus.
