Researchers within the JCLM are dedicated to providing excellence in research in the areas of leadership, governance and business. Particular areas of research concentration include the intersection of economics and theology, corporate governance, and ethically-minded organizational leadership.
Paul Oslington is Professor of Economics and Theology. Before coming to AC, he was a Professor at Australian Catholic University and Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales. He has held visiting positions at Oxford University, the University of British Columbia, Regent College Vancouver, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Princeton University. Paul is a world leader in his field. He has attracted over $600,000 in external funding and has produced nearly 100 research publications, especially on the relationship between religion and economics.
Dr Jesma O'Hara is an Honorary Postdoctoral Associate at AC, with research focusing on social enterprise business models. Jesma is a founding executive director of Neighbours Aid, a not-for-profit organisation established in 2002 to raise funds for educational, vocational and medical projects in the majority world.
Jesma's research focus has centred on the use of a social enterprise business model generating financial, social and spiritual capital in Australian and majority world communities. She also has an interest in governance, having served as a board member and then chair of a Christian school that operated a P-12 campus, an indigenous school, and six child care centres.
Dr Tammy Zunker oversees AC’s business programs. Before coming to AC, she taught for several years at Bond University, and was Executive HR Manager for a large Christian school with over 900 staff. She has expertise in accounting, finance, human resources and governance, with particular research interests in corporate disclosure practices, social responsibility reporting, and sports governance.
