Unit Content

Curriculum Objective

This unit builds on the introductory skills and concepts learned in Children’s Ministry and Child Development to equip the student to build a children’s ministry team and minister effectively to children and their families.

Subject Content

  1. Building and maintaining a children’s ministry team
  2. Ministering to the whole family
  3. Cooperating with other departments in a church and other organisations in the community
  4. Communicating to children
  5. Evangelism of children
  6. Discipling children
  7. Caring for children with special needs and/or facing difficult circumstances
  8. Contextualising children’s ministry
