Children's Ministry stream - Flexible Online

New for 2015.

"ACC Kids is extremely excited to partner with Alphacrucis College to maximise each of our strengths. Alphacrucis has decades of proven success in training Pastors and Leaders in Australia and ACC Kids has experts in specific skill set within the church so it is with great excitement that we bring the best of both of these and launch certified training in Kids Ministry. Over the coming years it is both our vision to see more equipped well trained Children's Pastors and Leaders serving in local churches making a difference."

Andy Kirk

ACC Kids National Director

In 2013, the 200 year anniversary of Children’s Ministry in Australia. Rev Thomas Hassall was still a teenager when he stepped up to the call to help impact the next generations. This all started in his house on the corner of George and Charles Street, Parramatta.

We are looking forward to launch the ACC Kids Children’s Ministry units available for flexible online delivery in 2015.

The Local Church College provides a unique opportunity to develop and connect the body of Christ. Based upon Alphacrucis’ excellent e-learning modules, students spend time reflecting and studying in the comfort of their local church.

The program is designed to resource individuals and is further complemented when a group of students join together in their local church to discuss what has been learned. It is at this point the local church has an integral part to play.

A facilitator oversees the group, encouraging and providing guidance with the course material. Eight modules are covered, providing the students with a sound, practical grounding in the Word of God.

Stand in the Gap Year

Finished School?
Want to make a difference in this world?

If you want just another gap year, then this is not for you.

Don’t waste your gap year, make it count! Whether you have plans to come to uni, tafe or get an apprenticeship, why not dedicate one year to God and STAND IN THE GAP for your community, our nation and the world.

This is no ordinary gap year. The STAND IN THE GAP YEAR is your opportunity to use your talents for God AND learn new skills at the same time. Ezekiel writes,

I [God] looked for someone among them
who would build up the wall and
stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it,
but I found no one
(Ezekiel 22:30, TNIV).

Be a part of a of movement that will change the world. God is looking for someone, will you be that someone?

As part of the STAND IN THE GAP YEAR you will help build broken walls. Our world is full of broken walls; family breakdown, child abuse, slavery, sexual exploitation, poverty, spiritual blindness. What walls can you help rebuild?

You will need to STAND! There is a gap between God and the world. Who will STAND before God on behalf of the land?

The STAND IN THE GAP YEAR is built around the Certificate IV in Ministry, with three exciting options:

1. Your Community

Enrol in the Certificate IV in Ministry through your local church or as a distance student and STAND IN THE GAP for your community.

2. Our Nation

Enrol in the Certificate IV in Ministry at Alphacrucis College, Sydney, and STAND IN THE GAP for our nation. You will get to visit other local and regional churches, serve at significant conferences and events (Big Exo Day, Planetshakers) and meet new friends to STAND with.

You can also enrol for the NSW Youth Alive internship and STAND IN THE GAP for the young people of NSW by being a part of a team that is transforming a youth culture.

3. The World

Enrol the Certificate IV in Ministry at Alphacrucis College, Sydney, missions stream and head off on a missions trip overseas and help build broken walls around the world.

You will need to have a passport and the missions trip will cost extra.

STAND IN THE GAP YEAR extreme is for students who wish to mix their choices, combining options 1, 2 or 3.

Imagine if God finds someone, what could He do? Will you be that someone?
